"Every Member A Minister"
2 Corinthians 5:18: And all things [are] of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the MINISTRY OF RECONCILIATION; (The ministry of bringing people to God, through Christ)
Every Member is an Intentional Minister
- In 2011 we need to cultivate relationships within the community & within the church.
- Ministry should be something we do intentionally & by design every day!
- Not as a task, or something we do just to fulfill our Christian duty, but a genuine effort to invest in someone else's life.
- It's obvious that Paul didn't have a "single-minded" ministry approach. Being made all things to all men, requires varying methods.
- We must not be critical of non-traditional methodologies.
- We must become more consumed with souls & less concerned with style.
- Fundamental preaching & innovative methods.
- GBC must be a Christ-dependent ministry.
- We need not always focus on what we can't do—rather we need to focus on all of the things that God can do.
- It's not what we "can do" for Him, it's what we allow Him to do through us, yielding to Him & saying Yes in our hearts before knowing the task at hand is key!
